Competition for the Courts of Appeal: Two Candidates Have Confirmed the Ability to Administer Justice at the Kyiv Court of Appeal, and One Candidate at the Lviv Court of Appeal

On June 01, 2026, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, sitting in plenary session, considered the issue of confirming the ability of three candidates for the to administer justice at the Kyiv Court of Appeal and one candidate at the Lviv Court of Appeal.

Olena Buzunko and Tetiana Krutsenko have confirmed their ability to administer justice at the Kyiv Court of Appeal. Hanna Vysotska failed to confirm her ability to administer justice at the Kyiv Court of Appeal.

At the Lviv Court of Appeal, Andrii Lazor has confirmed his ability to administer justice.

Please be reminded that 93 candidates submitted applications to participate in the competition for 45 vacant positions of judges at the Kyiv Court of Appeal.

In total, interviews were conducted with 51 candidates: 23 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice, 17 candidates failed to confirm it, and 11 candidates will be interviewed by the plenary session of the Commission. Two candidates withdrew from the competition.

55 candidates have applied to participate in the competition for 28 vacant positions of judges at the Lviv Court of Appeal.

In total, interviews were conducted with 42 candidates: 28 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice in the general court of appeal, 8 candidates failed to confirm it, and 6 candidates will be interviewed by the plenary session of the Commission. One candidate withdrew from the competition.
