The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine is conducting interviews with the winners of the selection for the position of local court judges.
Upon analyzing the compliance of individual candidates for the position of a judge with the requirements set forth in the Law of Ukraine “On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges”, the Commission notes that their integrity is sometimes questionable due to non-compliance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On General Military Duty and Military Service” regarding military registration.
Urge the candidates prior to the interview with the Commission to take exhaustive measures to properly fulfill their duties regarding military registration, thereby speeding up the decision on the recommendation for appointment to the position of a judge.
