On February 22, 2024, the plenary session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, at its meeting, considered the issue of extension the deadline for submission of an Extract from the Register of State Certificate of Proficiency in the State Language or a copy of the State Certificate of Proficiency in the State Language until March 13, 2024, for candidates participating in the competition for vacant positions of judges in the courts of appeal.
Please be informed that documents that would confirm the level of proficiency in the state language had to be submitted by March 1, 2024.
Despite the fact that the National Commission on the Standards of the State Language announced a break in the conduct of the national language proficiency exams from December 19, 2023, until January 23, 2024, not all candidates were able to obtain such a certificate in time.
The Commission has extended the deadline for submission of these documents to March 13, 2024.
