
On November 10, 2025, at the plenary session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, the issue of confirming the ability of four candidates for the position of judge to administer justice in the general court of appeal was considered.
Based on the results of the qualification assessment, Oleh Kostiuk and Oleksander Liubchyk were recognized as having confirmed their ability to administer justice in the Chernihiv Court of Appeal. The consideration of the issue regarding Nataliia Kolomiiets was postponed until November 24, 2025.
In the Transcarpathian Court of Appeal, Vasyl Shevchuk confirmed his ability to administer justice.
In total, interviews were conducted with 22 candidates for the position of judge in the Chernihiv Court of Appeal: 12 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice in the general court of appeal, 4 candidates failed to confirm, and interviews with 6 candidates will be held at the plenary session of the Commission.
For the position of judge at the Transcarpathian Court of Appeal, interviews were conducted with 30 candidates: 18 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice, 5 candidates failed to confirm it, and 7 candidates will be interviewed at the plenary session of the Commission.
