On March 24, 2026, during the session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, a panel conducted an interview and determined the results of the qualification assessment of Ivan Yakovenko, a candidate for the position of judge at the Odesa Court of Appeal.
According to the results of the qualification assessment, Ivan Yakovenko scored 739,11 points. The panel decided to recognise the candidate as having confirmed the ability to administer justice in the general court of appeal.
Please be reminded that 50 candidates submitted applications to participate in the competition for 23 vacant positions of judges at the Odesa Court of Appeal.
In total, interviews were conducted with 47 candidates for the Odesa Court of Appeal: 13 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice, 13 candidates failed confirm it, and 21 candidates will be interviewed by the plenary session of the Commission. One candidate withdrew from the competition.
