
On April 08, 2026, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine took a decision approving the coded and decoded results of the test on knowledge of the history of Ukrainian statehood, completed on April 07, 2026 within the framework of the competitions announced by the Commission’s Decisions No. 193/zp-25 and No. 194/zp-25 of October 29, 2025.

Please be reminded that, by the Commission’s Decision No. 30/zp-26 of March 23, 2026, test of cognitive abilities of candidates for the position of judge of the Specialised Circuit Administrative Court and the Specialised Administrative Court of Appeal has been scheduled.
The schedule for the testing may be consulted in the “Schedules” sub-sections under the “Qualification Exam” headings within the sub-sections “Competition for the Specialised Сircuit Administrative Court, announced on October 29, 2025” and “Competition for the Specialised Administrative Court of Appeal, announced on October 29, 2025” of the “Competition for the Position of Judge” section, or via the link for the test of cognitive abilities (in Ukrainian).
A total of 194 candidates for the positions of judges of the Specialised Circuit Administrative Court and/or the Specialised Administrative Court of Appeal who have successfully passed the test on knowledge of the history of Ukrainian statehood (in Ukrainian) have been admitted to the second stage of the qualification exam, namely the test of cognitive abilities.
Where the surname of a person listed in the schedule has been changed, the Commission must be notified thereof without delay, and a copy of the document confirming the relevant change must be submitted (contact details: tel. +38 (044) 233-63-85, e-mail: inbox@vkksu.gov.ua).
The test of cognitive abilities will be conducted in the premises of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine at the following address: 9, General Shapoval St., Kyiv.

For registration for the exam, candidates must have with them a passport of a citizen of Ukraine (in booklet or card form).
The test of cognitive abilities will be conducted using computer equipment.
Please be informed that, following the announcement of the commencement of test by an authorised representative and the participant’s successful authentication in the information system used by the Commission to conduct the second stage of the qualification exam, a start page will be displayed in the interface.
This start page contains instructions on the procedure for participants when working within the information system.
Participants are given 10 minutes to familiarise themselves with the content of the start page. After 10 minutes, the test will commence automatically.

The duration of the test is 30 minutes.
The test comprises 40 questions (tasks).
The maximum possible score at the test stage is 60.
The average admissible and passing score for the test of cognitive abilities is set at 55 per cent of the maximum possible score, i.e. 33 points.
Individual codes and workstations for taking the test are assigned on a random basis using a blind selection method, whereby participants choose from printed options placed before them in a randomly arranged and concealed manner.
